- Download and fill out the Testing Support Form saving to your desktop. You will need to download and save a separate form for each student. There is a PDF Version of the form HERE
- There is NO need to print and sign the form.
- Attach to your email the completed form and a copy of the exam.
- 2: Hand deliver to the Placement and Testing Center in Building 1.
- 3: Deliver by campus mail (1-1). Please deliver tests at least 24 hours in advance of students’ expected test time.
Important:
- Please deliver tests at least 24 hours in advance of students’ expected test time. This ensures that the Placement & Testing Center has processed your request in time for the students’ arrival.
- All placement and faculty testing is done on a drop-in basis; There is NO need to schedule an appointment for an extra time accommodation.
- Make note of our hours (listed on the form), and inform your students of them, especially if you schedule make-up tests that are not timed.
- We stop accepting testers one hour before closing.
Here are the steps that the Placement & Testing Center staff use to ensure the integrity of Faculty exams:
- Students are asked to present a Picture ID.
- Lockers are provided and required for all personal items. We pay special attention to cell phones and smart watches to ensure they do not enter the Testing Room.
- We refer to the Faculty Support Form for special instructions and the time allotted for the exam, and inform students before they begin testing.
- The testing room is monitored by staff walking through every 10 minutes. Students are informed when their test time has expired; we give a 5-minute warning when possible.
- Once the student completes the exam, we send it back to you as designated on the Support Form.
- NEW: Cameras are utilized in the public testing center in an effort to ensure academic integrity standards for the college and related partners are being met. Cameras are only used to provide a live stream for monitoring purposes to authorized testing center staff. No information is recorded. Cameras in the testing areas will not record information: they will not stream audio nor will data be saved, or used for any other purposes not listed in these policies and procedures.
- If cameras are present in the testing space, students will be alerted of their presence before beginning the test. Students will also be informed of the items they are allowed to bring into the testing space. Students can store other items in a designated storage space provided by the college.
- If a student exhibits behaviors that might be deemed outside of the college’s academic integrity standards or any other external integrity standards relevant during test taking, testing center staff may act accordingly:
- Intervene/address the concern directly with the student when appropriate,
- Inform the instructor and/or other appropriate test administrators of the behavior
- Make a referral to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct
If you have any questions on the student experience or our Testing Center procedures: Email testingcenter@highline.edu or call (206) 592-3251.
